Inspiration:
Meeting Me just as you are in this very moment and in this sacred space will bring you clarity, and I will dispel the dark fears you harbor inside with My light. I will dissolve your illusions of self-preservation, and I will expose the world’s lies about your identity.

Scripture:
He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
~ Colossians 1:17
Jesus taught us that a spiritual reality holds everything together in the physical world. He called it “The Kingdom of God” at hand. Jesus invites us to participate in that unseen reality where all things are connected and made complete in His presence. His invitation is to be free from the attachments of this world that cause unforeseen suffering. He wants us to hand those things to Him. So, the question we have to wrestle with is why it is so difficult for us to let go of our pain and bondage. (Letting Go of Regret)
We all have a unique model of how the world works. But unfortunately, our view is often distorted. We come to each day full of assumptions and judgments shaped by a lifetime of experience… from our parents, our culture, and even the technology that we carry in our pockets helps shape our understanding and approach to the world around us. This version of reality can keep us alive and safe in a danger-filled world. It speaks to us as if in a parent’s voice: “don’t do this, don’t do that, be careful here.” It is always worrying about how we best survive each day. (Let Go of How You Think Life Should Be)
But as the writer of Corinthians pointed out, we see things imperfectly. We spend our time focused on problems and struggles and miss the beauty of living. We miss the Kingdom reality that Jesus spoke about. That is why it is so important to have a daily ritual of slowing down and spending time to meditate and contemplate the goodness of God. It is essential to embrace the truth that a profound spiritual reality brings the world closer to God. With that in mind, take some moments each day to smile and let your spirit, soul, and body know that no matter what happens- everything will be alright. (The Wonder of it All)
