The mystic in prayer contemplates their entire soul and being is in union with God, and everything else that exists. In their heart, they experience oneness and unity with God and creation. That oneness is the awareness they are absolutely whole in the presence of Christ and love of God alone. Once having tasted of the heavenly kingdom and realm, this world can never be their home again. They now enjoy and experience reality, in which the material world no longer has anything to offer them. God possesses them, and they possess the Spirit of the living God. The good news every believer in Christ has the same eyes as the mystic. The resurrected Christ calls us to focus on Him not the love of the world. Most importantly He calls us never to view ourselves as being separated from His spirit. The mystic simply changes the view and experience of what they see. Instead of their eyes on themselves and the world, their eyes have one goal to see Christ and be caught up in the unity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It is a transformation available by faith for all who seek and desire the life of Christ to dwell in their heart.
