I don’t want you to lose heart over the problematic changes you need to make in your life. I know the fear and frustration you feel when life falls apart all around you. I also know how resistant you are to making any changes in an ever-changing world.
You do everything in your earthly power to avoid suffering and pain. Still, failure and misery are uninvited guests that show up at the most inopportune times and disrupt everything you’re doing. As disconcerting as the chaos of broken relationships and promises that fracture your heart, I can restore you with hope to live again if you let Me help. Amid the darkness, emptiness, and abandonment you feel I invite you to listen for My voice, I can transform and change your heart to be grateful for everything and not to become bitter. (Gratitude and the most remarkable man I know!)
I will do profound work in you as you let Me heal everything about your life. The reality is when something old falls apart, something new begins. Lean on Me and know you are not alone. Turn loose of your broken dreams and release them to Me, and I will help you recover and find new meaning in your life. When you break open, you will discover what is most important and essential in your life. I will help you not be afraid to let life be what it is and to listen to your heart and the heart of others who suffer just like you.
I invite you into the silence to uncover a beautiful treasure; My presence is a source of constant love that unites your soul with all creation. In the silence, listen for My voice to tell you-you’re not alone. In contemplative prayer, when you face adverse and traumatic circumstances beyond your control, don’t avoid your pain and suffering, but let Me take your brokenness and transform you from the inside out. When life falls apart, don’t be afraid, but trust in Me that I know what I am doing, and I will take care of you. (We are all Broken, and that’s Alright)
