There is a reason I tell you to guard your heart and mind. When you fill your mind with what you see and hear in the world, it drives you away from my presence. Discouragement and disappointment are the results when you lose focus on my love for you. You need my help with sadness and regret. The pleasures of the world will never give lasting contentment and peace. I am the treasure you seek. (Being Aware of Gods Presence in your Life)

It is easy to disappoint your family or friends when you expect too much from them. Don’t get your hopes up that someone can love you and give you everything you need to make you happy. You naturally feel sad when others let you down and hurt you, so don’t be surprised but learn to trust me. I encourage you not to make the feelings of disappointment cause you to withdraw further into your world. Stop listening to what others say about you and the wild scenarios you create in your mind about them. Listen instead for my voice and seek my face. (Walk in My Presence)

I know your mind wanders way too much, and your thoughts have the power to destroy you. You tend to fixate on what someone has done to you, and it pushes you deeper into despair. You become your own worst enemy, which is the last helpful thing. Instead, fixate and focus on my love for you. I encourage you to seek out the available help and resources I have provided with caregivers around you. I use doctors as well as my presence to bring healing and restoration to your mind and spirit. Don’t let your failures haunt you and press you down.

Come to me, and I will give you rest for your soul. No longer punish yourself with all the what-ifs of life. It was natural for you to follow the world before you knew of my presence, so now seek me for your good. Set aside time for me and renew your mind with my word instead of all the things you concoct, why you will never get better. Guard your heart and soul and receive help for your discouragements and disappointments in life. And lastly, you may need to forgive yourself and me for not doing what you expected of me in your times of trouble and heartache.
