Come with Me to a Quiet Place and Find Rest for your Soul

Come with me to a quiet place and find rest for your soul. In prayer, focus on my strength, overcoming the troubling thoughts in your mind, and supersede those concerns with my love and hope. (Calming My Restless Mind)

The world has never understood that our relationship is more profound than you possessing knowledge about me. When you seek my spirit to guide your life, I will change your thoughts with my thoughts. I am the unseen partner in the transformation of your mind. Your thinking will become my thinking and my ways your ways.

You will discover my love will release the negative feelings you struggle with toward those who have hurt you. I will help you overcome the resentments you hold against them. I will heal your mind from the pain as I provide my grace for you to forgive them as I forgave you. (Don’t Let Anyone Hold you Hostage)

No longer play over and over in your mind the reoccurring thoughts of getting even with others. I will transform your life with the fruit of my spirit.

You will experience my freedom when you pursue the renewing of your mind and heart. My peace is the byproduct of shifting the focus of your thoughts to my thoughts. I encourage you to learn through solitude and contemplative prayer, the practice of releasing and letting go of the thoughts that separate you from me. (Open Mind, Open Heart)

Let me do surgery on your painful memories and feelings so that nothing will separate you from my peace. I invite you to trust me and let my love consume the anger and the worry in your soul as you spend time alone with me. Come with me to a quiet place and find rest for your soul.

Scripture:

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD.  As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9 NIV

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2 NIV

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23  NIV
