I Stand at the Door and Knock

I stand at the door and knock, waiting for the invitation to gain entrance into your heart to commune with you one on one. I know how crazy your world can be at times.
So many thoughts in your head keep you awake at night. The anxiety you feel for your loved ones permeates your entire being. You have so much to do and so little time to do it. You ask yourself, will I ever get a moment’s peace?

Will you open the door? Since the beginning of time, my eternal blueprint was to walk and dialogue hand in hand with you every step of the way. I will never force you into a relationship with me. I won’t kick the door down. I gently knock to remind you I made you in my image and likeness. I came to reveal the love of the Heavenly Father to you. I never want you to feel alone or hopeless. (God is Always Present)

In your fast pace of life, I invite you to slow down and take the time to experience the essence of my spirit and life-giving power. As you seek me, you will uncover peace and comfort in the depths of your heart and soul. A relationship with me is more than just head knowledge about me. The way of salvation is an encounter with me and the experience of my love in your heart. (The Peace and Presence of Christ in our Heart)

As you open the door and trust me with your heart, my spirit will bring you into union and unity with me. You will experience the oneness of our hearts and minds intertwined together. My love will flow through you, and you may touch my glory. You may experience the same beauty that Isaiah and the prophets of old saw in his heavenly vision.

The apostle Paul experienced my resurrected power and glory. I stand at the door and knock and invite you into my presence as sons and daughters of an eternal kingdom.  Your first response is to answer the door and invite me in to eat and dine with you. Again, I stand at the door and knock.

Scripture:

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. Revelation 3:20 NIV

In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple. Isaiah 6:1 NIV

that all of them may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I am in You. May they also be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. John 17:21 NIV
