Do not let your hearts be troubled, for I will never leave or forsake you. I told you in the world, you would face unbelievable struggles and hardship. Sorrow, pain, and suffering, even death, is the inevitable outcome of life. You can try to avoid and control them as much as you like, but your best-laid plans are like grasping the clouds in the sky. (Break Open and Blossom in Life)
My disciples could not comprehend what I was talking about when I told them I would prepare a place for them. I knew that my death would shake them to the core of their being. They would be shocked and confused. That is why I wanted to prepare them, and you also. I wanted them to know that death is not the end but a step into a new realm of time and my eternal presence.
I was preparing them to learn how to grieve but not without hope. The hope I give is about making peace with the mystery do I have life after death. I came into the world to conquer death and answer that question.
When I went to the Father, my promise was that I would come back to take you to be with me there. There is a room for you like no other space you can imagine. It is a place of perfect peace in my presence. You do not need to worry about tomorrow or have any fear of the future. Since the time of creation, this world has been a temporary dwelling place. Your physical body will pass away into the permanent spiritual reality of being united with my spirit. Do not let your hearts be troubled, for I will never leave or forsake you. That is a promise I will keep. (When I go Away)
Scripture:
Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14:1-3 NIV
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6 NIV
he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment–to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ. Ephesians 1:9-10
