I do not want you to be afraid or let fear overwhelm you. Please keep your eyes on Me, for I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go. The world, at times, is a scary place. However, I do not want you to lie awake at night, unable to sleep because of the fearful thoughts of what tomorrow will bring. Release your anxious thoughts and place your cares into My loving arms and be still and rest in Me.

You, like everyone else, wonder about the future and how they will survive. You have loved ones who have substantial health problems with a short amount of time to live. Your thoughts swim in your head, wondering what will happen to them and, ultimately, what will happen to you. I am already in your future, preparing every step of the way.

Your confidence is in knowing I’m always with you. (God is Always Present.) There is no spot on earth or circumstance in which I’m not there with you, your family, or your friends. My hope is that in your darkest moments, you will see the light of My love and grace pierce the darkness. When it appears evil will win, My lovingkindness will protect and sustain you even in death.

When death raises its ugly head, just as Job could not understand why there was so much tragedy in his life, he knew that his Redeemer lives. As the light of day disappears and the darkness sweeps over the land, the night will not be dark to you. I will overcome your fears with the hope of everlasting life as My resurrection glory, and loving presence conquer the darkness of death.

Remember, I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go. (The Awareness of No Longer Being Separated from God) I am with you in the darkest moments of your life. There is no place I am not with you, and even as you approach death, I will walk with you on your pathway to heaven. As you trust in Me, do not be afraid, for My promise from the beginning of time is I will always be with you before and beyond the grave.

Scripture:

I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you. Genesis 28:15 NIV

Where can I go from your Spirit?  Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, ten even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me, and the light become night around me,” even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you. Psalm 139: 7-12 (NIV)
