I see so many of My followers struggling to have a vibrant relationship with Me. Once they receive My grace, they believe they will be immune to suffering. There is nothing further from the truth. Somehow, they must learn how to break open and blossom when life throws them a curve with My help during those difficult times. (We are all Broken, and that’s Alright)

Once they know My salvation, there is often a disturbing question; they ask themselves, is this all there is to life? Is there more to the Christian walk than what I am experiencing? However, instead of seeking more in-depth answers to the mystery of life, they live day-to-day in a self-imposed cocoon. They never venture out, going beyond the safe world they try to create and what they think is best for them. (Being Aware of God’s presence in your life)

There is no safe or risk-free existence in this world. Spiritual growth occurs when you face calamity, suffer loss, and choose to meet life’s challenges by making tough decisions that help transform you from the inside out. Unfortunately, so many spend their lives trying to avoid the hardships they encounter and become bitter when things don’t work out the way they expected.

Everyone suffers a loss, whether through the heartbreak of a divorce, the betrayal of a friend, the death of a loved one, or their own debilitating illness. I reveal My love and grace to you in your worst of times as you learn to depend upon Me for your comfort and hope in life. (My Comfort)

Don’t be afraid when things don’t work out, and you are at a crossroads, and you want to play it safe. Let Me help you face your fears and accept what is happening in your life. The cross symbolizes a turning point where you can no longer play it safe but must risk everything to find a life worth living. In your darkest hours, let your brokenness lead you into the fullness of My presence in your life. You experience the fullness of life when you dare to turn and face what needs to change and stop trying to avoid suffering. Learn to give thanks in every circumstance, and My presence will help carry you through every troubling step as you break open and blossom in life.

Scripture:

Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; Romans 5:3 NIV

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10 NIV

give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 NIV
