I am waiting for you to converse with me in silence one-on-one. I patiently wait for you to cease your endless activity and release the troubling thoughts that keep you from discovering peace and contentment in my presence. (Come and Rest in My Presence)

No longer attack yourself in your mind with fearful thoughts and questions about whether I love you. You’re like a wild sheep who gets tangled in the briars and the thorns trying to find your way home. So many times, you get lost, and you’re afraid to admit you’ve lost your way.

Various voices seek your attention that continually distract you from my presence. The cacophony of sounds and the noise in your mind keeps you from my presence and love. It is impossible to live in my presence when you’re absorbed in the cares of the world.

Don’t be fooled by the illusion of gratification the world offers you. You tend to be stubborn and believe that you know what’s best for you. Your mind is numb with clamoring thoughts, so it’s impossible to be fully present with me with a divided heart.

I encourage you to break away from the foolishness of seeking fulfillment in the pleasures of the world. I am waiting for you to leave your desires behind, which produce anxiety and depression in your life.

I am the good shepherd, and my sheep hear my voice, listen to me, and I will heal and comfort your soul. In the silence, make yourself fully available to me. The reason you feel distant from me is you are half-conscious of my presence and love for you most of the time. Trust me entirely, and I will take away your anxieties and fears as you empty your heart of all those things and replace them with my loving presence. (I am the Treasure you Seek)

Scripture:

So the LORD must wait for you to come to him so he can show you his love and compassion. For the LORD is a faithful God. Blessed are those who wait for his help. Isaiah 30:8 NLT

Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. 1 John 2:15 NIV
